Exciting Opportunity for Experienced Senior ITS Project Manager in Scotland
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior ITS Project Manager to join a busy client overseeing the National Traffic Scotland Systems Contract.
As the Senior ITS Project Manager, you will play a key role in managing critical ITS projects and ensuring the successful delivery of outcomes for the Traffic Scotland System. You will oversee contractors, monitor system performance, and contribute to strategic decision-making around system investment, architecture, and the management of connected data services.
The main duties of the Senior ITS Project Manager are:
- ·Manage critical ITS projects supporting the oversight and development of the Traffic Scotland System.
- ·Oversee contractors to ensure high performance levels, value for money, and successful delivery of outcomes.
- ·Contribute to decision-making around system obsolescence, future systems architecture, and investment strategies.
- ·Support the management and optimisation of traffic signals and connected data services.
- ·Develop relationships with stakeholders and provide senior-level advice on ITS-related matters.
- ·Ensure contract management is carried out effectively, with a focus on flexible and collaborative team working.
The Senior ITS Project Manager will have key experience in:
- ·Proven experience in ITS systems management.
- ·Demonstrable ITS project management experience in a transportation or roads environment.
- ·Experience working with stakeholders and providing senior-level advice and support.
- ·Contract management experience with a flexible approach to team working in complex environments.
- ·Expert knowledge of ITS systems, including emerging technology solutions and systems architecture.
- ·Experience in managing and optimising traffic signals
