Senior Engineer- Norwich
Salary- £45,000-£55,000
The role-
·Assist in basic planning, monitoring & programming.
·Assist in mentoring junior and graduate engineers as required.
·Control and minimize waste on site.
·Identify/assist in introducing new process, techniques, and innovations on site.
·Ensure all company property under your control is taken care of and stored securely when not in use.
·Participate in creating a knowingly safe working environment.
·Coordinate site engineering control and setting out activities and provide information to operatives and subcontractors.
·Complete diary sheets along with any photographic evidence as required.
·Undertake material reconciliations.
·Ensure all surveying equipment is calibrated.
·Carry out as-built surveys on complete works and drawings.
·Produce 2D & 3D site sketches.
· Support the Site Agent in project planning and coordination.
·Coordinate subcontractors to meet project deadlines. Draft, review, and implement Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
·Develop and implement Inspection Test Plans (ITP's).
·Ensure adherence to ITP's and engineering standards.
·Update project schedules and attend coordination meetings. Ensure compliance with specifications and drawings.
·Raise design-related inquiries and technical questions.
·Maintain accurate records including site diaries and quality assurance documents.
About you-
·Advanced setting out techniques
·Relevant Civil Engineering experience (Preferred Highways, will accept experience in Rail, water or aviation).
·Problem solving skills
·NVQ Level 3 or higher.
·SMSTS.
·Relevant CSCS card.
·Office 365 expertise/CAD.
