Geotechnical Estimator
Remote
Salary- £40,000-£60,000
OTE by year 3 of over £100,000-£150,000
Location: Home-based with travel as required
Role Overview:
Are you a technically-inclined, people-focused professional who excels at problem-solving and building strong client relationships? Do you thrive in dynamic environments and have a knack for driving business growth? If so, we have a compelling opportunity for you as an Area Manager in the infrastructure/Civils Sector
Must have- Experience in Either Design or Estimation within a construction or civil setting.
Key Responsibilities:
·Identify and develop new business opportunities, including pre-visit assessments.
·Conduct site visits, both virtually and in person, to evaluate customer needs and provide solutions.
·Design and propose project plans that effectively address customer challenges, adhering to company guidelines.
·Analyze site investigation data to aid in the creation of detailed treatment designs.
·Prepare pricing and quotations in alignment with company policies and performance targets.
·Manage follow-up communications with new clients, ensuring timely and accurate data entry into company systems.
·Coordinate the scheduling and delivery of orders to ensure prompt service.
·Participate in the ongoing improvement of sales processes.
·Serve as a flexible and proactive team member, contributing to overall business success.
Qualifications:
·5+ years of experience in the construction industry, ideally within Civil Engineering
·Relevant qualifications in construction, engineering, or surveying (e.g., BSc, MSc, OND, HND, Degree).
·In-depth knowledge of subsidence issues in the UK.
·Demonstrated sales experience in the construction sector.
·Strong customer service skills with a history of client-facing roles.
·Proficiency with virtual technology and operating systems.
·Valid driving license.
