Senior Conservation Officer
Hybrid (2 days office/site per week)
Up to £45 per hour - 6 months contract
We're looking for a Senior Conservation Officer to join a Local Authority planning team. This role offers the chance to contribute to heritage and conservation projects, working on listed building applications and policy updates.

Key Responsibilities:
·Handle listed building consent applications and provide pre-application advice.
·Support discharge of conditions and respond to general heritage-related enquiries.
·Contribute to heritage at risk/enforcement cases.
·Provide input into the local plan update where required.
·Conduct site visits, ensuring planning and conservation policies are upheld.
What They're Looking For:
·5+ years of experience working at a senior level within an LPA planning department/conservation team.
·Strong understanding of listed building and conservation area policies.
·Ability to work independently and manage case loads effectively.
·Own vehicle required for site visits.
