Environmental Consultant
Are you looking to build a career in environmental consultancy? Our client is seeking an Environmental Consultant to join our team, providing technical and project support across a range of environmental and sustainability-focused developments.
The Role:
Reporting to the Environmental Director or Principal Environmental Consultant, you will contribute to a variety of environmental projects, supporting clients with assessments, applications, and compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
·Prepare Environmental Permit applications (including variations, transfers, and surrenders) while liaising with internal teams and external organisations.
·Assist in the preparation of Planning Applications and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs).
·Support the development of technical reports and environmental assessment documents, including Air Quality Assessments, Noise Assessments, and Hydrogeological Assessments.
·Provide assistance in waste & recycling, minerals, and energy development projects, offering environmental advice and supporting project management.
·Help organise and supervise environmental technical assessments and investigations.
·Carry out additional duties as required to support environmental projects.
About You:
·Degree in Environmental Science, Geography, Geology, or a related field.
·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
·Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
·Interest in environmental regulations, sustainability, and technical assessments.
