Principal Planning Officer (NSIP Projects) - Lancashire
 
Location: Remote (with site visits and hearings in Lancashire as required)
Rate: Fully negotiable for the right candidate
Contract: 12 weeks (potential extension TBC)
Hours: 37 per week
 
Are you an experienced planner with expertise in Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs)?
 
We are seeking a Principal Planning Officer to support a high-profile infrastructure project in Lancashire. This is a fully remote role, but site visits and attendance at hearing sessions organised by the Examining Authority will be required.

Key Responsibilities:
 
·Manage planning applications for Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs)
·Provide expert advice on planning and environmental issues
·Attend site visits and hearings as required
·Support the development management process for major infrastructure schemes
What We're Looking For:
 
✔ Strong knowledge of planning and environmental regulations
✔ Proven experience in development management and NSIP projects
✔ Ability to navigate complex planning processes and legislation
✔ Experience handling major infrastructure developments
