Planning Engineer
Location: London
Salary: £50,000
About the Role
This £120M scheme includes:
·Site remediation
·Construction of roads, bridges, and flood mitigation measures
·Utility connections (electricity, gas, water, communications)
·Development of new landscaped parkland
If you have a background in infrastructure or civil engineering and want to be part of a transformative London development, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
·Programme & Reporting: Prepare weekly/monthly updates and progress reports
·Project Planning: Manage contractor and subcontractor schedules
·Resource Allocation: Optimise labour and monitor KPIs
·Risk & Reprogramming: Track progress and reprogram work as needed
·Contracts & Compliance: Work with NEC contracts, submit documentation, and manage compensation event programmes
·Stakeholder Engagement: Attend project review meetings and present progress updates
What We're Looking For:
·A relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction, or Project Management
·Experience as a Planning Engineer on major infrastructure or civil engineering projects
·Preferably main contractor experience, but Tier 2 will be considered
·Proficiency in Primavera P6 (desirable)
·Knowledge of NEC contract management
