Key Responsibilities:
·Preparing Transport Assessments and Transport Statements
·Drafting and coordinating Travel Plans
·Preparing and presenting technical data and drawings
·Conducting junction capacity assessments using ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG
·Liaising with clients, contractors, and local/national authorities
·Ensuring all tasks are delivered on time and within budget
·Supporting senior colleagues in providing advice on highways and transport matters
·Conducting site appraisals and designing surveys
·Keeping electronic and paper project files up to date
·Assisting with other transport-related tasks as required
What We're Looking For:
Education & Experience:
Degree in Transport Planning, Geography, or Civil Engineering
Understanding or experience of UK Transport Planning standards and processes
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
Strong numeracy skills and ability to work with spreadsheets
Experience using ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG
AutoCAD experience is a plus
Competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to work independently and manage workload
Professional and approachable when liaising with clients and colleagues
