Our client are offering up to £75,000 per annum and can work out of one of their 9 offices UK wide.

What You'll Be Doing:
Design Support - Contribute technical expertise to design reviews.
Environmental Awareness - Consider sustainability throughout the design process.
Leadership - Support and guide junior engineers and graduates.
Technical Excellence - Recognise knowledge limits and seek guidance when needed.
Risk Mitigation - Identify and address risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Tender Support - Contribute to technical design proposals.
Installation Consideration - Ensure engineering risks are minimised during installation and commissioning.
Project Awareness - Maintain commercial awareness and accurately estimate project timelines.
Change Control - Implement structured processes for scope adjustments.
What We're Looking For:
Essential Experience:
Strong foundation in Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineering.
Familiarity with BS7671 and Low Voltage Directive.
Proficiency with CAE tools used in EC&I design.
Experience managing plant and documentation configuration.
Experience delivering design packages for highly regulated industries.
Desirable Skills:
Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks, or SEE Electrical.
Knowledge of Functional Safety (BS EN 61508, BS EN 61511) (preferred, not essential).
Experience within the nuclear industry.
Qualifications:
✅ Essential - A degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering (or HNC/HND with substantial experience).
✅ Desirable - Professional Registration and membership with a relevant institution (e.g., IET).
