Surfacing Contracts Manager - Exciting Opportunity with a Growing Company
Location: Reading
Salary: up to £60,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Surfacing Contracts Manager to join a growing, close-knit company. This role is ideal for someone with a background in smaller businesses, who is eager to take ownership of projects and make a meaningful impact.
The Role:
The Surfacing Contracts Manager will oversee multiple surfacing projects, managing them from initiation through to completion. Based across [local/regional] projects, the role involves hands-on management, ensuring all work is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
·Leading and managing surfacing projects from start to finish.
·Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to build and maintain strong relationships.
·Preparing and managing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
·Ensuring all sites adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
·Managing site teams, providing guidance, mentoring, and support.
·Monitoring progress and addressing any issues to ensure projects remain on track.
The Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in surfacing or civil engineering contract management, ideally gained within a smaller company. They will be a proactive and adaptable professional, capable of juggling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
