Are you an experienced Transition Manager looking for your next role?

My client, a main contractor, is seeking an experienced Mobilisation and Transition Manager for a water project in Glydach, Wales.

This long-term contract role offers an excellent opportunity to work in the Water/Utilities sector, with a 12-month contract paying up to £30 per day via an umbrella company. (Hybrid working available) 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead mobilisation and transition of new projects, ensuring smooth setup and handover.
  • Develop and execute mobilisation plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and communication throughout the transition process.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Track and manage mobilisation budgets efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in mobilisation and transition management.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience in risk management and issue resolution.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) desirable.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and adaptable.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
