About the Role
Are you an experienced Site Manager looking to take on a new challenge? We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to lead a high-profile, confidential infrastructure project in London. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a transformative initiative that demands the highest standards of excellence, safety, and innovation.
As Site Manager, you will oversee daily site operations, coordinate teams, and work closely with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of this critical project. This role requires a strong leader with a proactive mindset and a passion for achieving outstanding results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
·Lead and motivate on-site teams to deliver the project on time, to scope, and at the highest standards.
·Oversee subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and project requirements.
·Plan and monitor progress using tools like APHEX, addressing risks and achieving milestones.
·Drive sustainability initiatives, ensuring minimal environmental impact.
·Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the site.
Essentials:
·SMSTS, Temporary Works Coordinator/Supervisor, and SEATS certifications.
·National Grid Competent Person (NSI 4 or NSI 6&8) and EUSR Cat One.
·Extensive experience in civil works and National Grid projects (TP163).
·Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
Desirables:
·Experience managing complex infrastructure projects with major contractors.
·Familiarity with tunnels, shafts, and underground works.
·Proficiency in O365, project management software, and APHEX planning tools.
·A valid driving license.
