Job Title: Site Engineer
Location: Leeds
Salary: £40,000-£45,000 per annum
On behalf of my client, a well-established civil engineering contractor, I am looking for a Site Engineer to join their team in Leeds. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects while contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of civil engineering works.
About the Role
As a Site Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and safely. You'll provide technical expertise, manage on-site operations, and maintain exceptional standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
·Accurately set out works and oversee construction in line with contract specifications and client requirements.
·Provide technical support and ensure compliance with all operational safety standards.
·Step into the Site Manager role for short-term cover, when required.
·Maintain detailed site records and produce as-built drawings in collaboration with the client's representatives.
·Ensure full adherence to contractual obligations and the company's Quality Management Systems.
·Provide accurate records and data to support the Quantity Surveyor in preparing monthly valuations.
·Build strong relationships and ensure exceptional levels of customer care.
Requirements:
·A minimum of an HND or equivalent in Civil Engineering.
·Relevant technical training certifications.
·Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
·Experience with LSS/N4CE survey packages (desirable but not essential).
·Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
·Strong attention to detail with a proactive and organized approach.
·Effective planning and time management skills.
·A professional, "can-do" attitude and willingness to go the extra mile.
