Site Agent
 
Are you an experienced Site Agent with a strong background in civil engineering? This is an opportunity to work a range of exciting projects on a major Highways contract.
 
The Role: As a Site Agent, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of projects, leading a site team that includes supervision and subcontractors. Your responsibilities will include:
 
·Leading the site team to ensure successful project completion.
·Producing and maintaining contract programmes and managing change on-site in line with NEC contract conditions.
·Monitoring site activities against target programmes and addressing any exceptions in outputs or delays.
·Ensuring all site activities are completed with diligence and energy, maximising time spent on planning and supervising works.
·Conducting daily site briefings and overseeing sub-contractor task briefings.
·Monitoring work activities to ensure they meet the Works Specification and are delivered safely, following safety principles.
·Communicating formally with clients and subcontractors, including issuing Early Warnings and instructions.
·Assisting in the tendering of works, evaluating, and selecting sub-contract packages.
·Taking ownership of safety and environmental compliance for your projects.
 
What You'll Need:
 
·Significant experience in civil engineering and workforce supervision, particularly in highways, earthworks, drainage, and structures.
·Strong commercial acumen to facilitate cost control.
·Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
·Flexibility in approach and the ability to manage change effectively.
·Experience working on NEC3 contracts and understanding the notification mechanisms.
·Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
