Role: Electrical Maintenance Engineer  
Location: South Cheshire
Salary: Up to £45,000 p/a + benefits package
 
One of the UK's market-leading companies in the supply, manufacture, design, installation, and servicing of pumping equipment is seeking a dynamic and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their external team. Based from their HQ in South Cheshire, this role involves working alongside a mechanical engineer, sharing a van, and traveling nationwide to install, commission, and service pumping equipment.
 
This position offers an exciting opportunity for a hands-on engineer ready to work in a fast-paced environment, with occasional nights away (expenses fully covered). Flexibility is key.
 
Key Responsibilities:


·Work alongside a mechanical engineer, traveling to various sites across the UK.
·Install, commission, and service pumping systems to a high standard.
·Stay away from home when required (occasional nights away) - all expenses covered.
·Ensure all materials and tools are available before leaving and complete works within time frames.
·Complete site reports after each visit and obtain customer signatures.
·Submit completed site reports and time sheets in a timely fashion.
·Support the after-sales and breakdown department when available.
·Be an ambassador for the company, promoting products and services to clients.
·Manage petty cash and company credit card.
·Identify training needs and seek continuous professional development.

Required Qualifications:
·Essential:
oC&G Level 2 and 3 in Electrical Installation
o18th Edition (BS7671)
oStrong understanding of electrical installations
·Desirable:
oLevel 3 in Initial and Periodic Electrical Inspection and Test (2391-52)
oCSCS card
oConfined Space (CSTS) trained
oPrevious experience working with pumping equipment
Skills & Experience:
·Previous experience in a similar role or maintenance environment - Desirable
·Ability to work flexibly, as part of a team or independently - Essential
·Excellent prioritisation and time management skills - Essential
·Strong communication and problem-solving abilities - Essential
Working Conditions:
·Nationwide travel with occasional nights away (expenses fully covered).
·Full training provided to support your development.
