As the Site Agent, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the highways package, ensuring that all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will lead a dedicated team, coordinate with various stakeholders, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
·Oversee the construction of highways and associated infrastructure within the housing development.
·Manage site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring high standards of work and adherence to project timelines.
·Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and client specifications.
·Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and communicate effectively with the project management team and clients.
·Resolve any technical or construction-related issues that arise on-site.
·Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, site diaries, and quality assurance documentation.
·Coordinate with local authorities, utility companies, and other external parties as required.

Qualifications and Experience:
·Proven experience as a Site Agent, Site Manager, or similar role within the highways or civil engineering sector.
·Strong knowledge of highways construction, including drainage, kerbing, road surfacing, and associated works.
·Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation.
·Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
·Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
·CSCS card, SMSTS, and First Aid certification are essential.
·Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential.
