Senior Structural Revit Technician - Cambridge

Are you an experienced Senior Structural Technician looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering firm based in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team, where your expertise will be valued and your career development supported.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' technical experience and a strong understanding of major construction materials, including steel, concrete, masonry, and timber. You will be confident working both independently and as part of a team, ensuring detailing standards are met at every project stage-from concept to construction.

The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, as well as knowledge of the BIM process and working procedures. The successful candidate will have experience across a range of projects, from new-build houses to multi-storey frames, and will be comfortable coordinating with architects, consultants, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
·Competent use of Revit and AutoCAD to deliver high-quality structural drawings.
·Ability to manage projects of varying sizes across different sectors.
·Strong coordination skills to work effectively with architects and other principal consultants.
·Comfortable with a client-facing role, attending meetings and representing the business.
·Capable of mentoring junior technicians and supporting their development.
·Ability to work autonomously, reporting progress as required.
·Knowledge and experience of BIM processes.
