Senior Strategic Transport Planner

Carrington West is working with a client to recruit a Senior Strategic Transport Planner to support key transport strategies, policy development, and infrastructure planning. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to major transport initiatives.
 
Key Responsibilities:
·Develop and deliver area-based transport studies, including marketing, communications, and engagement.
·Conduct strategic transport modelling to support long-term planning.
·Develop and support business cases for transport schemes.
·Contribute to the Local Plan, ensuring transport considerations are integrated.
·Advise on public transport policies, including bus services, rail service development, and Mass Rapid Transit (MRT).
·Provide transport policy input to planning applications, influencing development decisions.
What You'll Need:
·Minimum 5 years' experience as a Senior Strategic Transport Planner.
·Proven experience within the public sector, preferably in local government.
·Expertise in transport strategy development and policy planning.
·Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with political and public stakeholders.
·Experience in developing area-based transport studies and business case development.
