Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: London (Hybrid working/multiple offices)
Rate: £400 to £450 per day - Umbrella (Depending on Experience)
Duration: 12 Months+

My client, a leading design & build contractor in the water sector are looking for a Senior QS to join their team carrying out principal contractor duties on behalf of Thames Water's AMP 7 projects. They have got the framework for the entire AMP7 cycle bringing us through until the end of 2025.
Candidates will need to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week however the client are happy for the other 3 days to be remote. They have 3 workable offices in London.
Candidate's with water sector experience would be a strong preference. This position would suit someone who is used to planned works and working to forecast dates, especially with a water industry background, desired by the client.

Key deliverables:
Develop and Maintain sustainable business relationships with client and Subcontractors.
Support the Project Commercially to undertake procurement activities Contract/Subcontract administration, including (valuations), final accounts, increase value, reduce cost, change management, Commercial risk, and cash management.
Workload targets and deadline for reporting, and maintaining delivery against these. Presentation of Commercial reports in the format to support internally and externally,
Assist on providing legal and contractual advice, identification and reduction of commercial risks, supporting commercial resources as appropriate.
Candidates who are degree qualified and/or RICS Accredited will be well received.
