Project Manager - Civil Engineering
 
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum
 
Location: South-West
 
My client are a leading civils contractor within the South-West region, and due to an expanded portfolio of works, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the team. This role is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to get involved with busy highways projects and make an impact on the work they do.
Responsibilities:
·Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of civil engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with client requirements and organisational objectives.
·Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring resources are effectively allocated.
·Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.
·Conduct regular progress reviews, proactively identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective measures as needed.
·Prepare and present detailed project reports, documentation, and updates for stakeholders.
·Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring project objectives are met.
·Apply advanced project management methodologies and best practices to drive efficiency and quality.
Requirements:
·A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with a proven track record in managing civil engineering projects.
·Experience on highways projects within the area.
·Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
·Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with experience managing project teams.
·Proven expertise in project planning, risk management, and budgeting within the construction or civil engineering sector.
·Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and Microsoft Office Suite.
·Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
·A commitment to delivering projects to high standards, on time, and within budget.
 
Package:
·Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum (depending on experience).
