Do you want to work for a highly motivated council planning team who consistently delivers a high level of service?
  
This newly created role is because of an increase in workload due to continued development in the area. The council are looking to bring in an experienced infrastructure planner that can hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
You will be required to work both individually and as part of a team to continue the high level of service that the local authority operate to currently. You will be managing a varied caseload of major infrastructure schemes with the possibility of collaborative working on an NSIP.
This role offers hybrid working and can be flexible to suit the right candidate's preference for office/site working. 

To be successful in this position you MUST HAVE:
·Access to your own vehicle or a valid UK driving license (for travel to and from the office and for site visits)
·Experience in dealing with appeals
·Experience in dealing with major infrastructure planning projects OR minimum 5 years' experience at Senior/Principal level within a district or borough planning team
On offer is an hourly rate of up to £55p/h umbrella depending on experience.
