This is a crucial role within the Housing Tenancy Management Team, working with internal and external partners to keep communities safe and support vulnerable residents.

You will be responsible for preventing tenancy breakdowns, investigating tenancy breaches, supporting victims of domestic abuse, and resolving ASB cases using both preventative and legal measures. If you are passionate about protecting residents, managing risk, and securing positive housing outcomes, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities
·Manage complex ASB and domestic abuse cases, ensuring victims are risk assessed, supported, and referred to appropriate agencies.
·Create and implement safety plans for victims, arranging necessary security measures in homes.
·Investigate tenancy breaches, including nuisance behaviour, subletting, and harassment.
·Prepare and serve legal notices, taking court action where necessary to enforce tenancy conditions.
·Provide a customer-focused service, ensuring residents feel safe and supported.
·Conduct interviews with complainants, witnesses, and alleged perpetrators, gathering evidence and working towards fair resolutions.
·Develop strong partnerships with social services, police, legal teams, and external support agencies.
·Work with internal housing teams to prevent evictions and sustain tenancies where possible.
·Identify and escalate safeguarding concerns for both children and adults.
·Ensure compliance with all legislation, policies, and best practices in ASB management, domestic abuse support, and tenancy enforcement.
·Represent the organisation at multi-agency meetings and court hearings, presenting clear and evidence-based reports.

About You
·Proven experience in housing management, specifically in ASB, domestic abuse casework, or tenancy enforcement.
·Strong understanding of housing law, ASB legislation, and safeguarding procedures.
·Experience of preparing legal documents, serving notices, and attending court proceedings.
·Background in working within local authority housing teams, housing associations, or tenancy enforcement.
·Excellent investigative, problem-solving, and case management skills.
·Strong ability to handle difficult conversations, mediate disputes, and support vulnerable residents.
·High level of written and verbal communication skills, with experience in report writing and presenting cases at legal proceedings.
·Ability to build strong relationships with partners including the police, legal teams, and social services.
·Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential).
·Office-based role with required site visits.
