Senior Drainage Engineer
 
Carrington West are working with a client in need of an experienced Senior Drainage Engineer to support their growing workload. Due to a shortage of internal resources and a high volume of planning activity, they are looking to bring someone on board.
 
This role will suit a well-rounded engineer with solid experience in both drainage design and planning application support.
 
Key Responsibilities:
·Review and provide technical input on planning applications with drainage implications
·Deliver and assess drainage designs in line with current standards and regulations
·Liaise with planning teams and external consultants as required
·Provide general support across drainage and flood risk matters
Requirements:
·Proven background in drainage engineering, ideally within a local authority setting
·Strong understanding of the planning process and relevant drainage legislation
·Ability to manage a busy workload and work independently
