Job description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to provide vital support on a major highways infrastructure project. This is an initial 4-month contract, with the potential for extension based on project requirements. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of project milestones, working closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
·Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of highways/major infrastructure projects.
·Ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
·Manage and mitigate risks to keep the project on track.
·Liaise effectively with contractors, stakeholders, and government bodies.
·Provide clear reporting on project progress and issues to senior leadership.
·Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Key Requirements:
·Proven experience as a Project Manager within highways or major infrastructure projects.
·Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and industry standards.
·Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
·Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines.
·A relevant degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (desirable).
·Professional qualifications such as APM, PRINCE2, or PMP (advantageous).
