Job description

Project Manager required for assignment on a long-term basis delivering a significant public realm regeneration project in Bedfordshire. This comprehensive initiative includes highways and transport improvements designed to enhance the region's infrastructure and public amenities.

Key Responsibilities
·Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the project, ensuring it meets time, cost, and quality parameters.
·Coordinate with stakeholders, including local authorities, community groups, and subcontractors, to ensure seamless project progression.
·Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
·Oversee risk management, ensuring potential issues are identified and mitigated.
·Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
·Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
·Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging innovation and excellence.

Qualifications and Experience
·Proven experience as a Project Manager in highways, transportation, or public realm projects.
·Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
·Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
·Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build strong working relationships.
·Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
·Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
·PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is desirable.
