We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager to join their dynamic team and take a leading role in the successful delivery of major highways projects in the vibrant city of Manchester.
 
What you will do:
As a Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of overseeing and delivering major highways projects in Manchester. You will play a key role in project planning, execution, and successful completion. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the infrastructure development of one of the UK's most dynamic cities.
  
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of major highways projects in Manchester.
- Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement proactive solutions.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and cost control measures are implemented.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure project specifications are met.
- Oversee the procurement process, including tendering and contract negotiation.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and regulatory requirements.
 
What you will need:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction or infrastructure industry.
- In-depth knowledge of major highways projects and associated challenges.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
