My client looking for a Principal Transport Planning Consultant to join their UK Transport Planning Team in either London, Manchester, Oxford, Birmingham or Cardiff.
What you'll be doing
You will be working with a strong team of highly knowledgeable consultants giving you the opportunity to demonstrate and enhance your skill set and progress your career. You will have the opportunity to act as Project Manager, provide consultancy advice to clients, contributing towards the success of the team through the effective delivery of projects and ensuring development of key client relationships. You will provide support to the Transport Directors and assist in managing the work of graduate and consultant staff.

The team would like you to have a relevant degree along with a demonstrable commitment to professional development and a background of working in professional services/consultancy.
You will be able to display a good working knowledge of transport modelling software (including Junctions10 and LINSIG), TRICS, TEMPRO, accessibility analysis, transport policy and technical guidance documents. You will be experienced in preparing technical transport reports including Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and Traffic and Transport chapters of Environmental Statements and have a good level of technical ability in undertaking the associated technical analysis work that underpin these.
Great analytical, problem solving and communication skills are a must as you'll need to be able to build strong working relationships with your colleagues, clients and external bodies.
What's in it for you?
