Are you an accomplished Principal Structural Design Engineer with expertise in Network Rail engineering standards?

Are you a Chartered Engineer looking to lead and inspire teams while contributing to exciting projects in CP7?

Salary: £60,000 - £68,000
Location: London or Sidcup, with hybrid working (2–3 days per week on-site)

What you’ll bring:

• A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Chartered or Incorporated status with ICE or IStructE – this is essential.
• At least 8 years’ experience in civil structural engineering, particularly with materials like masonry, reinforced concrete (RC), and steel.
• A proven track record in leading projects and teams with confidence and collaboration.
• Exceptional project management skills and commercial awareness.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as Tedds, Tekla, MIDAS, Robot, SuperStress, LUSAS, etc.
• In-depth understanding of Network Rail engineering standards, demonstrated through previous project experience.
• Strong ability to check and approve designs and calculations, as well as mentor and manage junior engineers.
• Design CRE experience is beneficial but not essential.
