Job description
Planning Infrastructure Monitoring Officer (S106 & CIL)
Hampshire
3-month initial Contract
£40-£43p/h
Job Ref - 52485
I am working closely with my LPA client based in Hampshire as they seek an interim Planning Infrastructure Monitoring Officer on an initial 6-month contract.
·To lead on the administration of the Council's Developer Contributions framework, being the first point of contact for all customers to the Development Management team. This includes the assessment of CIL and implementation of s106 Agreements.
·To maintain and update the Council's Section106 agreement Register and Community Infrastructure Levy 'CIL' so that all data is accurately maintained and available for annual reporting as part of the legal requirement for the Infrastructure Funding Statement.
·To support the introduction of technology and improvements to the monitoring systems in pursuit of the delivery of infrastructure improvements to benefit the borough.
·To be the subject matter expert and prepare and provide responses to any general enquires by internal officers of all levels, Members, developers, the general public, solicitors and developers related to specific Section 106 and CIL compliance matters.
Ideally, they are looking for office presence no less than every 2 weeks (more would be great but not mandatory). Although, for the right candidate, they are happy to be flexible.
The contract has initially been set-out on a 37 hour (full-time) week but, again, there is flexibility on this for the right candidate - part-time candidates will still be considered.
if this post is of interest, please do get in touch at your earliest convenience to discuss. Further details are available upon request.
You must have previous Section 106 & CIL experience to be considered.
