We are seeking an experienced P6 Planner to join a major Highways Public Realm scheme in Cambridgeshire. This freelance role offers a long-term opportunity to work on a high-profile project, operating outside IR35, with a competitive day rate.

Key Responsibilities:
·Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 to ensure alignment with project objectives.
·Collaborate with the project team to plan and sequence work activities to meet milestones and deadlines.
·Monitor progress and performance, identifying potential delays or risks and providing mitigation strategies.
·Produce accurate and timely reports, including critical path analysis and earned value management.
·Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure schedules reflect real-time project status.
·Support project delivery by ensuring compliance with contractual and industry standards.

Essential Criteria:
·Proven experience using Primavera P6 for planning and scheduling complex infrastructure projects.
·Previous experience on Highways or with a UK Tier 1 contractor.
·Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project management principles.
·Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
·Experience in planning for bridge projects is advantageous but not essential.
