Role: Mechanical Fitter
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum + benefits package


A market-leading UK company specialising in the design, supply, installation, and servicing of advanced pumping systems is seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Fitter to join their team.

About the Position
This role involves working closely with an electrical site engineer to install, commission, and service pumping and related equipment. Based in Sheffield, the position offers nationwide travel and occasional overnight stays (expenses fully covered), providing an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer ready to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
·Attending installations and responding to breakdowns across the UK as required.
·Servicing, repairing, and assembling a variety of pumping equipment.
·Participating in a rota system to provide standby cover on weekends and bank holidays.
·Completing detailed site reports and obtaining customer signatures for submission.
·Representing the company professionally and promoting its products and services.
·Ensuring company vehicles are stocked with the necessary tools and equipment.
·Identifying and addressing training needs.

Additional Duties
·Maintaining and improving company procedures where possible.
·Observing and adhering to Health & Safety policies.
·Undertaking other duties as required by the business.
Candidate Requirements

Essential Qualifications:
·A mechanical qualification.
Desirable Qualifications:
·Confined space training.
·First Aid certification.
·CSCS and SSSTS cards.

Working Conditions
·Nationwide travel with occasional overnight stays (expenses fully covered).
