Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer
Do you want the opportunity to work for a multi-disciplinary firm of structural and civil engineers who have established a high standard of excellence in consulting over the past 35 years? With three offices in the Northwest and one in London, my client work with clients across the UK and a wide range of sectors. Core services include: Structural & Civil Engineering, Geotechnical & Environmental Investigations, Building Surveying and Pre Planning Services.
The Geo-Environmental team currently have the opportunity for a Graduate to join the Liverpool office on a permanent basis.
The geo-environmental experts are based in house and have an exemplary portfolio, designing and implementing well-designed site investigations across the UK to assess and address any potential impact, therefore mitigating financial risk. This includes desk-based studies, a contaminated land assessment, geotechnical appraisals, development of economic remediation strategies and subsequently, supervision and verification of ground preparatory and remediation works.
The Main Objectives
·Production of detailed reports - Phase I desk studies, Phase II intrusive reports, Phase III remediation strategies and Phase IV completion reports
·Represent Sutcliffe as part of the site investigation team.
·Assist site investigations and site sampling.
·Attend internal meetings
·Land assessments for industrial, commercial or residential sites for environmental impact
Requirements
·A degree in environmental science, geology or geography
·0-4 years experience in the industry
·Hardworking individual with effective communication and teamwork skills
·Clean UK Driving Licence
·CSCS Card preferable
