Are you an experienced Estimator with a background in tendering for Highways & Infrastructure contracts?

If so, we are seeking a skilled professional to join our esteemed client on a freelance basis, based in Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities:

·Manage all aspects of estimating for highways construction projects
·Prepare cost estimates and budgets for earthworks and drainage
·Conduct risk analysis and value engineering
·Oversee tendering processes and contract administration for motorway and highways jobs
·Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
·Liaise with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders

Requirements:

·Proven experience in estimating for highways, earthworks, and drainage projects
·Strong understanding of construction and maintenance processes
·Excellent analytical and numerical skills
·Proficient in relevant software and tools
·Strong communication and negotiation abilities
·Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
·Hard-working and proactive, enjoys being actively involved in projects
