Highways Designers Site Representative (Part-Time, 2 Days/Week)
Location: Lincoln Area, UK
Contract Duration: 78 Weeks
Employment Status: Contract (Outside IR35)
Work Schedule: 2 Days per Week

Currently, they are seeking a highly skilled Highways Designers Site Representative to join their dynamic team on a major highways project in the Lincoln area.
Role Overview
The Highways Designers Site Representative will play a crucial role in overseeing the implementation of design specifications on site. This role ensures that all construction activities align with the approved designs and meet the highest quality standards. This part-time position requires expertise for 2 days per week over a period of 78 weeks, providing flexibility to balance other commitments.
Key Responsibilities
·Act as the primary point of contact between the design team and construction personnel on site.
·Ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with the approved design specifications and industry standards.
·Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor progress and quality.
·Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams, addressing any design-related issues.
·Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and local authorities, to facilitate smooth project execution.
·Prepare detailed site reports and documentation for design compliance and project records.
·Contribute to problem-solving and decision-making processes to overcome site challenges.
Qualifications and Experience
·A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
·Proven experience in highways design and site representation, ideally on major infrastructure projects.
·Comprehensive knowledge of highway construction standards and regulations.
·Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.
·Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
·Proficiency in relevant design software and tools.
·Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., ICE, CIHT) is desirable but not essential.
