Job description
My client are currently looking to recruit a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor to work in a multi-disciplinary environment to deliver a full suite of Building Surveying duties out of their Birmingham office. They offer varied and interesting work with a number of high-profile public and private sector clients.
As well as technical competence, they are looking for individuals who possess great communication, strong commercial awareness, and experience, and who will provide a first-class service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
·Working across a number of projects in different sectors, providing a range of building surveying duties.
·Managing the client relationship and service delivery on a project-by-project basis.
·Design and specification of projects including Net Zero schemes.
·Project management.
·Pre and post-contract duties for projects.
·Due Diligence Surveys and condition surveys.
·Contract administration.
·Project management.
·The use and application of standard forms of building contracts, ideally both JCT and NEC.
·Designer-level ability as defined by the CDM Regulations.
Requirements:
·BSc (Hon's) Building Surveying RICS Accredited degree.
·Full member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
·Ability to demonstrate good all-round surveying experience.
