Our client is seeking an adept and seasoned TUFLOW Modeller with extensive experience in breach modelling. The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing, simulating, and optimizing drainage and water schemes, producing models in TUFLOW or Flood Modeller Pro. This role will be for 2-3 days per week and falls outside IR35. The client is happy to consider candidates that work remotely.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
·Utilize TUFLOW modelling software to simulate and analyze drainage and water schemes.
·Conduct advanced breach models.
·Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate modelling results into design solutions.
·Evaluate and optimize drainage systems for resilience and efficiency.
·Provide technical expertise, guidance, and support to project teams.
·Interpret complex data and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
 
Requirements:
 
·Proven experience as a TUFLOW Modeller in infrastructure, drainage, or water-related projects.
·Extensive expertise in breach modelling techniques and methodologies.
·Proficiency in utilizing TUFLOW/Flood Modeller Pro software and other relevant modelling tools.
·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
·Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
·Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
