Role Overview:
The company is seeking a skilled and organized Travel Planner to join the team to support travel and logistical planning for diverse development projects. Based in Newcastle, this role involves managing travel logistics for project personnel, coordinating travel-related planning requirements, and helping meet project timelines through detailed and efficient planning.
Key Responsibilities:
·Develop and implement Travel Plans that align with project requirements and promote sustainable transportation.
·Coordinate travel schedules and logistics for project teams, including arranging accommodations, transportation, and on-site inspections.
·Serve as a Travel Plan Coordinator, ensuring effective communication between clients, project managers, and external stakeholders to streamline travel operations.
·Provide Personalised Travel Planning for key project stakeholders, optimizing travel arrangements based on project needs and sustainability goals.
·Oversee the discharge of travel-related planning conditions, working closely with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
·Stay up-to-date with transportation trends, regulations, and best practices that support each project's specific travel requirements.
Qualifications:
·Relevant experience in travel planning, logistics, or project coordination within the development or construction sector.
·Strong understanding of travel logistics, planning regulations, and industry-standard practices.
·Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple project requirements effectively.
·Proficiency in travel planning software and tools for efficient scheduling and budgeting.
·Flexibility with working hours to meet project timelines and support occasional travel requirements.
