Job Opportunity: Trainer - Clean Water
Location: Remote
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
A leading name in technical water industry training and qualifications is looking for experienced Trainers to deliver high-quality training programmes to a range of water companies across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a respected organisation known for its strong industry relationships and commitment to professional development.
Purpose of the Role:
We are seeking individuals with a background in the water industry, ideally with experience in water distribution or leakage. Strong communication skills are essential, and while previous experience in training and assessing qualifications is an advantage, full training can be provided. You will be professional, customer-focused, and skilled at building and maintaining relationships. Additionally, experience in creating and delivering learning content to diverse groups, including apprentices, is highly desirable.
While this is a remote position, you must be willing to travel to deliver training as required.
Key Responsibilities:
·Deliver high-quality training programmes to a wide range of learners and customers.
·Develop and build effective training packages that meet specific learning objectives and outcomes.
·Monitor and maintain the quality of training materials.
·Assess learners both in training centres and in the workplace.
·Contribute to the standardisation of qualifications and best practices in training and assessment.
·Maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to ensure excellent service delivery.
·Strive to achieve an individual utilisation target of 80%.
Key Areas of Responsibility
·Deliver learning packages that meet measurable standards.
·Monitor and update training materials to ensure currency.
·Conduct observations of learners in both centres and workplaces, ensuring progress aligns with learning outcomes.
·Work closely with the assessment team and Internal Quality Assurers to maintain high standards across qualifications.

Required Experience and Qualifications
·Relevant water industry qualifications.
·Proficiency in Maths and English.
·Full driving licence.
·Understanding of Health & Safety practices.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
·Assessor Qualification (D32/D33, A1, TAQA) or willingness to work towards one.
·Level 3 Training and Education or equivalent, or working towards it.
·Experience in designing and delivering training materials.
·Delivery of qualifications and apprenticeship programmes.
