Location: Brackley or Aylesbury
Salary: £26,520 per annum (based on £12.75/hour, 40-hour working week) + travel time
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

I'm working on behalf of a leading groundwater monitoring contractor who is looking for a Trainee Field Technician to join their growing team due to an internal promotion. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate or early-career professional passionate about working outdoors and making a difference in the Water sector.
About the role:
As a Trainee Field Technician, you'll play a vital role in the team heading out to various sites to collect groundwater and surface water samples. You'll also liaise with laboratories to arrange sample testing, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Your day starts on-site in Brackley or Aylesbury at 8 AM, from where you'll travel to field locations in a company vehicle. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who enjoys outdoor work and is eager to gain practical experience in the field.
The ideal candidate will have:
·A degree in Geo-Environmental Engineering, Geology, or Geotechnical Engineering.
·A clean UK manual driving license.
·Experience with fieldwork or a site-based role (through work or university projects) is highly desirable.
·Enthusiasm for a career in the water and environmental sectors.
