Job Description:
 
You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across a range of typologies, including commercial, mixed use, residential, and retail spaces in London and Internationally. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
 
-Ensure all documentation is as per local codes and regulations.
-Must have in depth detailed knowledge of local codes and regulations
-Must have knowledge of building permit procedures.
-Ensure yourself and the team meet agreed deadlines for documentation issue.
-Ensure all work is delivered to the correct standard and on time.
-Assist the Project Architect with the local authority submissions in accordance with the relevant          local authority requirements.
-Be proactive and suggest improvements or amendments required to the systems
-Ensure that technical knowledge is up to date
-Standard construction techniques and details
-Be aware of new construction practices and their impact on details.
-Share knowledge of construction detailing.
-Research different supplier's details.
-Ensure knowledge of materials and systems are up to date and expanded on the project
-Demonstrate knowledge and appreciation of the scope of works for the whole range of sub consultants. I.e. HVAC systems, lighting level coordination, acoustical requirements.
-Demonstrate knowledge of Client/ Operators procedures and standards to enable the compliance of design.
-Ensure sub-consultants requirements are adequately incorporated in drawing packages.
-Assume responsibility for developing a specialist interest. For example, sustainable design, roof detailing, timber specifying, paint specifying etc.
-Ensure adequate knowledge of specifications in order to correctly annotate drawings.
 
Qualifications:


To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
·Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
·Registered architect with relevant professional associations.
·Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other design and drafting software.
·Strong communication and presentation skills.
·Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
