Job Title: Site Manager
Location: Bridgwater (initial site; potential for projects across the region)
Salary: £45,000 - £54,000 + Car/Car Allowance
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at every stage. This role requires a proactive leader who can coordinate with both site teams and clients, manage project timelines, and support commercial forecasting. If you have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a solid background in site management, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
·Safety & Quality Compliance: Ensure that all site activities comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
·Project Management: Oversee construction to ensure it aligns with approved designs and specifications; track program changes, raise Technical Queries and Early Warnings.
·Stakeholder Engagement: Attend client meetings, including progress and commercial meetings, as well as internal design meetings.
·Cost & Forecasting Support: Collaborate with the Commercial team to update cost forecasts and manage Compensation Events.
·Procurement & Materials Management: Ensure timely ordering of materials and coordinate with Quantity Surveyors to allocate subcontractor packages.
·Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and high-quality records for project activities and milestones.
Qualifications & Experience
·Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar site management role.
·Education: NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management (desirable).
·Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with a solid understanding of construction processes and project management.
