Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
 
Location: East Midlands, UK
 
Salary: £70,000-£75,000 plus benefits
 
My client are a civil engineering contractor delivering a variety of projects within the highways and infrastructure sector. They are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with extensive highways experience and working knowledge of NEC B contracts to join the team within the East Midlands.
 
Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:
·Oversee the financial performance of the project
·Provide legal advice
·Monitor and control project budgets and deadlines
·Manage subcontractors and their payments
·Prepare and attend monthly cost review meetings
·Maintain updated reports and logs
·Deal with method of measurements
 
Requirements of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:
·BSc or equivalent in Quantity Surveying
·Professional certficate (i.e. RICS) is desirable
·Strong computer literacy
·Highways experience within a commercial setting is essential
·Working knowledge of NEC B contracts
·Extensive experience in utilising method of measurements
·Willing to work full-time on site within the East Midlands area
·Full UK Driving License
