Senior Site Engineer - Heavy Civils/Highways
Location: Suffolk
Salary: Up to £48,000 + Benefits
Are you an experienced Site Engineer looking to step up and make an impact on heavy civils and highways projects? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company, working on challenging and rewarding projects in Dover and the surrounding areas.
 
What You'll Be Doing:
·Take full ownership of setting out duties on-site with minimal supervision.
·Train and support Junior Engineers, helping to develop their skills and confidence.
·Oversee site testing requirements and maintain thorough records to meet project specifications.
·Prepare and implement risk assessments and method statements to ensure site safety.
·Manage service plans and drawings, issuing permits when needed.
·Assist the QS and Project Manager with key documentation for records and claims.
·Ensure all temporary works are planned and controlled effectively.
·Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
·Ensure compliance with company procedures and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and environmental practices.
 
What We're Looking For:
·A full UK driving licence (essential).
·Previous experience in heavy civils and highways is a big plus.
·First Aid at Work qualification (preferred but not essential).
