Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced Section Engineer for a Highways project around London. This role involves night shift work and requires a strong background in Highways projects, including motorway technology and utility detection:
 

Key Responsibilities:


·Oversee and manage site operations for Highways projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
·Conduct and supervise utility detection and mapping activities.
·Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
·Implement and adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
·Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, material usage, and workforce management.
·Ensure all work is performed in accordance with SMSTS, EUSR, NHP, and SCM guidelines and regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:


·Previous experience in Highways ideal.
·Experience with highways tech is preferred but not mandatory.
·Proficient in utility detection techniques.
·Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
·EUSR (Energy & Utility Skills Register) certification.
·NHP (National Highways Passport) certification.
·SCM (Safety Critical Management) certification.

·Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
·Proficient in using relevant engineering software and technology.
·Commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
