Location: Bedfordshire
Salary £55,000-£60,000

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Scheme Delivery Manager to join our team. You will manage carriageway and footway refurbishment programmes, ensuring successful completion of highway and streetlighting schemes while maintaining compliance with health, safety, environment, and quality standards.
 
Key Responsibilities:
·Manage delivery resources for highway and streetlighting schemes
·Ensure compliance with health, safety, environment, and quality standards
·Collaborate with the Programme Manager and Client to define the Annual Plan
·Oversee the delivery phase and allocate resources
·Conduct design surveys and ECI meetings to inform commercial target costs
·Scrutinize delivery costs and agree on payment applications
·Utilize project management tools
·Promote environmental initiatives and business improvements
·Support the development of direct reports

Skills & Requirements:
·Experience managing construction scheme resources
·Experience in structural maintenance schemes (carriageway and footway resurfacing, surface dressing)
·New roads and streetworks supervisor qualification
·SMSTS qualified
·Relevant construction/project management qualifications
·Knowledge of Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual
·Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Asta, Confirm
