Our client are working  wiht a client in the Uk Defence industry and seek a Requirements Engineer or Technical Writer to join their busy team.
 
The role is focussed on scope writing rather than requirements tracking, i.e. not using IBM Doors or similar. It will be focussed on the drafting and development of technical scope documents based on client stakeholder requirements with inputs from other Subject Matter Experts within the company

Responsibilities:
 
·Understand how to elicit, analyse and translate stakeholder needs into technical requirements
·Deliver and maintain client organisation-owned requirements engineering documentation in relation to defined project scopes, across the full delivery lifecycle, to a high standard
·Provide advice and guidance to the client's major programme in the completion of their deliverable requirements documentation and review for format, quality and content
·Contribute to identifying any opportunities for cost savings, efficiency, and business improvement
 
Skills & Experience:
 
Essential:
·Background in requirements or systems engineering with experience of writing and managing requirements documentation
·Appreciation of planning and working within a team to successfully deliver project objectives
 
Desired:
Knowledge or understanding of the nuclear licence conditions
