Immediate requirement to join our client's Commercial team in Essex as a Quantity Surveyor. Reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you'll handle subcontract procurement, manage project forecasts, and be the go-to for commercial matters. Responsibilities include preparing final accounts, quotations, and Bills of Quantities, ensuring timely invoicing, and supporting the broader commercial team as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

·Take-off from site drawings to create Bills of Quantities.
·Manage cost forecasting, control processes, and contractual matters.
·Identify, notify, and negotiate changes per contract.
·Analyse contract and subcontract tenders.
·Use in-house software (Coupa, Lisa, Confirm) with training provided.

Ideal Candidate:

·HND in Civil Engineering or similar.
·3+ years as a Quantity Surveyor with highways experience.
·Familiarity with NEC 3/4 contracts is a plus.
·Strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to work under pressure.
·Valid UK driving licence required.
