Job description

Our client are a large high tech Nuclear design and construction company. Working on components for large Nuclear generators, SMR's and Fusion.  They are a multinational company and work on several different Nuclear projects across the UK.
 
They are currently looking for a Quality Engineer to work on the planning, execution, performance monitoring, quality monitoring and improvements of quality in the Manufacturing and delivery process. You will be reporting and suggesting improvements to the Quality Manager and other key members of the management team. Working towards the company goal of being class leading in the QA & QC capabilities.
 
You will be working across two teams, one dedicated to Quality Assurance and one to Quality Control. Both designed to give the best operational quality and aim to be world leading in their fields.
 
Our client are based in Wolverhampton and offer a competitive salary of £35,000 to £45,000 dependant on experience. They have a good benefits package and opportunity to progress a career within the organisation.

Responsibilities:
 
·Reviewing specifications
·Reviewing MITPs
·Approve procedures
·Support Shareholder & Client meetings
·Produce quality plans
·Support Dispatch process
·Inwards goods inspections and reviews
·Non-Conformance reports for Management
·Traceability Control
·Route cause analysis
 
Requirements:
 
·Degree in Quality Assurance or similar (Desirable)
·Engineering Qualification (Desirable)
·Engineering, Manufacturing or Business Management experience
·Nuclear Industry experience (Desirable)
·Experience in Quality Control Grading
·Experience in a Highly Regulated industry
·Process improvement experience
·Knowledge of or experience of working within ISO 9001 / EN3834 / EN1090
·Auditor of ISO9001 (Desirable)
·Good problem solving skills
·Ability to identify improvements
·6 Sigma experience
·Able to use MS Office
