Location: Yorkshire, UK
Position: Full-time
We are looking for a Project Manager with an Engineering background. You must have a Degree or Equivalent on Civil Engineering.
Our clients projects shape communities and improve everyday life. We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join the team in Yorkshire and lead our civils framework projects.
Role Overview: As a Project Manager, you will oversee civil engineering projects within our framework, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will supervise, coordinate, and monitor the performance of staff and sub-contractors, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
·Team Supervision Oversee and coordinate the performance of staff and sub-contractors.
·Project Delivery Successfully deliver projects within agreed deadlines and to the highest quality standards.
·Progress Monitoring Track and report progress against Safety, Quality, and Schedule metrics, both for yourself and your team.
·Regulatory Compliance Ensure clear understanding and compliance with drawings, specifications, building regulations, and good building practices.
·Issue Resolution Work closely with the Project Manager to identify and address any project issues.
·Client and Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with clients and the Project Manager to oversee the project from planning to completion, maintaining high levels of Health and Safety.
What You'll Bring:
·Experience:
o3+ years in a Site Agent position working on civil projects.
o6+ years' experience in civils construction.
oBackground as an Engineer
·Skills:
oEnthusiastic personality with a strong work ethic.
oAbility to work well using initiative and solve problems effectively.
oStrong communication and interpersonal skills.
