Job Opportunity: Project Engineer (Electrical)
Location: East Midlands
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum + package
Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for your next challenge? This is your chance to be part of a high-impact project with a Principal Contractor for Severn Trent Water. They're looking for a Project Engineer (Electrical) to work across three key sites in the East Midlands.
As a Project Engineer, you'll report directly to the Project Manager and play a key role in ensuring the successful design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of plant systems. You will contribute to the delivery of these projects on time and within budget while managing relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
·Ensure project costs stay within budget and meet contract requirements
·Manage project documentation, including contract reviews and forecasts
·Build and maintain positive client relationships
·Assist in the production and monitoring of the contract programme
·Collaborate with site management to resolve design and procurement challenges
·Ensure health, safety, and compliance standards are met
·Contribute to the timely delivery of O&M manuals
·Review and manage subcontractor performance
·Liaise with the supply chain and oversee procurement schedules
·Support in risk and opportunity management throughout the project lifecycle
What You Bring:
·Essential:
oStrong engineering background with an HNC qualification (minimum)
oKnowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes
oExperience in contract management, budgeting, and cost control
oFamiliarity with CDM and Health & Safety regulations
Desirable:
